What People's Say About Place

On a recent trip to Duck, NC, we ate at Fishbones. Both my husband and I ordered the tuna. It was so tender and delicious. Our server was also exceptional. She gave our grandkids some paper and crayons and after they completed their drawings, she posted them on her counter. So thoughtful!!! We will definitely return on our next visit.

The STAFF makes this place amazing. The food was top notch but the wait was longg. They don't take reservations, so it's first come first serve. A few of us went first, put our name on the list and the second half of our party came a little later. Just make sure your entire party is there when you're about to be seated. The wings were delicious and the flounder scallops and shrimp were cooked perfect.

A casual place located on the second level of a shopping area. We stopped in for a quick lunch upon arriving in Duck for our week getaway. The service was fine - as was the food. The grilled shrimp on Caesar and blackened Mahi sandwich with pasta salad. My daughter and son in law really liked this place - they went back 4 times!

The crab dip was ok but wouldn't order it again. The kids liked their meals of Mac and cheese and pasta with marinara. The shrimp salad (can't recall the menu name) was good. My husband had the oysters and shrimp. The shrimp were a good size. The oysters were on the smaller side of oysters he has had but they were good tasting. Service was good and they were kind.

Mostly experience on Sunday. It wasn’t busy at all. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Looks simple but cute. We were greeted and seated promptly. Food tasted good. The only negative is their tap water had a terrible taste to it and they didn’t have any bottled water. Overall good experience.

It was fairly crowded, we ate at the bar. The bartender was very nice and a good server. Food was fine, just fad appetizers. The shrimp was seasoned well, the wings were huge. I think I liked the cheesesteak egg rolls the best

Nice place for quick lunch. Cool beach vibe. Nice decor and bar. Service friendly, seemed a bit confused, assuming new staff members. Food was good, hot, arrived pretty quickly. Moderate pricing.

Stopped in for a family dinner while on vacation in Duck. Fishbones does not take reservations and is not open on Wednesdays. Despite not taking reservations they were able to seat our party of 8 with only a 20 minute wait. Our server was friendly, and willing to make recommendations but she did not stop by our table very often. The food was good. We enjoyed our evening.
